Dehumidifiers are supplied in refrigerant type dehumidifiers, or desiccant type.
Refrigerant type consists of a compressor which pumps refrigerant through a closed piping system that produces both cold and hot surfaces from the high and low pressure sides respectively. The moisture in the air condenses on the cold surface and air is passed over the warm surface which warms the dry, returning air. The moisture is collected in a tank.
The desiccant type operates by passing the incoming air over a warm surface and through the warm drying segment of the chemical rotor where the moisture molecules separate and bond with the surface of the rotor, allowing dry, warm dry air back into the target space. Moisture is removed from the rotor by heating a portion of this air and passing it through the regen segment of the rotor, where the hot air breaks the chemical bond, releasing the water vapour so that concentrated humid air leaves the rotor regen segment.
This warm moist air passes over a cool surface, causing the liquid to condense, which then collects in the water tank. We supply dehumidifiers for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
Our units are backed by a comprehensive 1 year warranty.
